Chenchen and John are both members of my church, and it was truly an honor when they asked me to photograph their wedding during my time in Dubuque, IA. Being part of such a meaningful day for people I knew personally made the experience even more special.

Their wedding took place on a beautiful fall day in Dubuque – warm, joyful, and filled with genuine love and celebration. From heartfelt moments during the ceremony to laughter shared with family and friends, the day reflected who Chenchen and John are as a couple: kind, grounded, and full of joy.

Although I am now a wedding photographer based in Columbia, MO, I remain grateful for the weddings I photographed in Dubuque, Iowa, and the connections I built there. This wedding will always stand out as a reminder of how meaningful it is to document love within a close-knit community.
