I reschedule at no cost to you. I never charge cancellation or rescheduling fees for weather. If the forecast looks questionable, I'll be in contact the day before and morning of your session to decide together. We'll find a new date that works for your schedule and prioritize rescheduled sessions so you're not pushed back weeks. In some cases, mild overcast light actually produces beautiful results - I'll always discuss it with you first before proceeding.

Can parents come to the senior portrait session?

Yes, absolutely. Parents are welcome for the full session and many do attend, especially at the beginning. That said, some seniors relax and open up more when there's a bit of distance from parents, and that ease shows up directly in photos. I gently encourage parents to step back once the session gets going if the student seems more comfortable that way. There's no right or wrong - the goal is always for the senior to feel comfortable and confident, and I'll do whatever supports that.

Can I bring my dog or pet to my senior portrait session?

Yes! Pets are a wonderful addition to a senior session — they're natural stress-reducers and almost always add personality to photos. A few practical notes: make sure your pet is comfortable in public or outdoor spaces, bring a second person if possible to handle the pet when they're not in the shot, and let me know in advance so we can plan the location with pet access in mind.

Can I include sports gear or equipment in my senior portraits?

Definitely — and I actively encourage it. Whether it's a football helmet, lacrosse stick, volleyball, swim cap, track uniform, or equipment from any other sport, bring it.
