A senior portrait session should feel fun, relaxed, and completely focused on you.
Here’s what to expect from a high school senior portrait session with SheyiKreations Photography—from planning and locations to outfits, timing, and final images.
A Senior Session Designed Around You
Every senior is different, and your session should reflect your personality—not a template.
I’m always exploring new locations, refining my approach, and finding ways to help you feel confident and comfortable so your portraits feel natural and authentic.
Locations That Matter to You
I encourage seniors to choose multiple locations when possible. We can use:
- locations I know and trust around Columbia, MO
- places that are meaningful or unique to you
Mixing locations adds variety and helps your gallery feel more personal.
Outfit Changes & Session Length
Senior sessions are designed to be flexible and relaxed.
Typical sessions include:
- multiple outfit changes
- up to two locations
- up to two hours (including travel time)
This allows time to settle in, explore different looks, and enjoy the process without rushing.
What’s Included in a Senior Portrait Session
- Minor retouching for blemishes
- A yearbook image (included with first purchase)
- A curated online gallery
- High-resolution digital images
Image selection and final delivery focus on quality, not overwhelming quantity.
Friends, Family & Special Requests
Parents and friends are welcome and often helpful. If they become distracting, it’s perfectly okay to meet up again after the session.
You’re also welcome to include:
- a sibling
- a parent
- a best friend
- a boyfriend or girlfriend
At no extra charge.
Weather, Braces & Real Life
- Cloudy days are great for portraits
- Rain may require rescheduling
- Braces can be retouched upon request
The goal is always for you to look like yourself, at your best.
